What was it about?

There is a hat factory Šešir in our town which just stopped functioning. We wanted to have an event where people would socialise and share stories about their hats. We also wanted to honour hat making tradition in our town and celebrate the effects that woman / man made crafts have on our brain and the community.

How did it go?

It went great although it was raining the whole morning. People came, share their stories (some of them were really emotional). Visitors were chatting with each other, eating biscuts, drinking tea and coffee. There were new connections established and people joined our knitting community Breja preja which helds weekly meetings. We (the organizers) were really suprised and the event overcame our expectations and we are looking forward to organise next pop up museum.
